A student was rushed to the Ng Teng Fong Hospital on Tuesday night (11 Apr) after he was accidentally hit by a car near the bus stop next to the North Hill halls.

The student injured his left foot after he was hit while crossing Nanyang Avenue around 8pm.

He had just bought dinner from North Hill and was crossing the road when a black car coming from Nanyang Crescent accidentally hit him.

The driver, a Hall 11 resident, said he was driving back to his hall when the accident occurred.

He said the student had “dashed on to the road”.

Although in pain from his swollen left foot, the student remained conscious and lucid. He sat on the road next to the bus stop while the driver called for an ambulance.

The ambulance and police arrived at 8.40pm.
